It is our role to produce original content and license studio programs worldwide and we need your passion, innovative ideas, and creativity to help take us to new heights. We are looking for an experienced Research Manager to lead customer-focused primary research projects in Japan. Using your skills in market research methodologies and direct project management experience, you will work closely with Data Science, Development, Marketing and Finance teams, always making sure to represent the voice of our customers. Responsibilities: · Lead research projects through the lifecycle of a TV series/movie to help create ambitious and compelling content · Identify appropriate methodologies based on business and research goals · Writing surveys, creating sampling and weighting schemes, and evaluating results · Translate complex data sets into clear and compelling written narrative · Represent, and advocate for our customers in all analysis and meetings · Work closely with vendors to insure successful execution of research projects (domestic and global) · Support strategic initiatives using primary, secondary and syndicated data sources · Maintain ownership of research studies end to end |
応募資格 |
【必須(MUST)】 · BS/BA from accredited 4 year university· 5+ years of professional experience in the market research field · Direct experience leading primary research studies across with various methodologies (online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnos, online qual, etc.) · Proven written and verbal communication skills to convey key insights from analysis · Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams · Japanese and English bilingual both in verbal and writing communications · Proficiency in MS Excel and Word 【歓迎(WANT)】 · Experience on the research vendor side or within the research group of a media company/consumer business company· Experience leading different types of viewer studies such as episode testing, dial testing, concept testing, series maintenance · Familiarity with Japanese video programs (TV shows and Movies) and talents (actress/actor/comedian, etc.); being an enthusiastic video entertainment fan · Understanding of the television programming landscape is a plus · Experience with various statistical techniques · Experience with applied statistics, predictive analytics, and mixed methodology research · Experience with Vision Critical’s Sparq platform and Tableau · Meets/exceeds functional/technical depth and complexity for this role |
