PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : Business Development Managers are always hungry for more. They are able to adapt their style to suit the situation -- sometimes they are hard negotiators, other times they are working in parallel with their external counterparts to achieve winning solutions for us. They are excellent strategist, able pick & focus on their must-win battles. At the same time, they are ready to roll up their sleeves & get their hands dirty to ensure they exceed targets set. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY: - Main responsibilities The role of the Business Development Manager is to recommend and implement the sales & trade-marketing strategy in Off Premise Channels & for all the brands in the Japanese market. He/she is a key contributor to the topline growth of the company. He/she is responsible for building the joint business plan with the Distributor & pilot the excellence in execution. • Manage Off premise channels: specific focus on CVS/Supermarket /EC & Others. • Negotiate trade terms with partner: volume targets, rebates, price changes etc. • Develop the Business plan: identifying the key levers to grow the Business and share/align with the partners. • Anticipate Risks & opportunities for his/her channels. • Ensure & challenge the resources needed to execute the plans: partners' organization & investments (P&L, trade marketing investment...) • Implement trade marketing strategy and recommend market needs. • Promotional planning & forecasting • Close follow up of distributor performance: kpi's monitoring, market visit & reports. • Monthly reporting on performance: internal and with partners. |

【必須(MUST)】 CAPABILITY PROFILE - Required Background- Education background University Degree - Technical Skills and Experiences required Would typically have around 3 to 10 years relevant experience in Sales, Key account Management, trade marketing ideally within a strong multinational FMCG company (spirits, high-end/premium) or our classical CBU; - Competencies to be successful on the job Abilities: ►Result oriented: pragmatic, flexible, business quick understanding ►Strong Organization skills: be able to prepare, present and follow-up Business plan with the partner ►Open-minded attitude, Good listener, self-motivated with drive, passion ►Ability to leverage the multi-Cultural differences and similarities and engage people Competencies: • Knowledge on market, category • Knowledge of the Off premise channels & Customers • E commerce business knowledge and experience is welcomed • Negotiation skill • Trade marketing experience • Budget planning and monitoring • Analytical skills • Ability to convince internally, partner, distributor & Customers • Understanding of strategic vision and marketing • Presentation skill both in Japanese & English • English Business level required |
