■ MISSION STATEMENT ・Lead the Chandon brand team in the development of continued sustainable brand equity profitable growth for the brand portfolio in Japan through the development of a strong consumer-insight driven approach to marketing and communications, and, working under the overall leadership of the Marketing Director, play an influential role in the Asia Pacific region and at global level with the Maison brand boards ・Bringing strong strategic and integrated communication and planning experience, lead the development of integrated marketing communications and consumer activation campaigns with the use of cutting-edge consumer data collection and analysis and the deployment of multi-channel communication incorporating digital and direct-to-consumer channels to address the consumer insights identified ・Japan has the third largest A&P budget in the cmpany globally. With one quarter of marketing activity currently devoted to advertising, the Brand Director will work across the business, coordinating stakeholders globally and locally, to create buy-in for the new brand strategies and communications mix required to address the Japanese consumer insights identified ・He or she will work in partnership with sales and all other key functions to ensure that global and local media assets and marketing spend are aligned to marry the global marketing strategy with the consumer at the point of sale in Japan, maximising the effectiveness of Maison Brand strategy on sales and long-term brand equity growth ・Place the team at the centre of the high-performing the team and Marketing function in Japan |

【必須(MUST)】 Education• 4 years Bachelor degree is a MUST. Masters is a plus Languages • Fluent in Japanese and English both in writing and speaking • Proficiency in French is a plus Professional experience & know how • bring a modern consumer marketing skill set from a classically-trained blue-chip marketing background with exposure to luxury brands, and deep strategic and integrated communication planning experience • have a track record of establishing and executing visionary consumer brand strategies ideally in multiple markets with depth of experience in Japan, resulting in sustainable long term sales and brand equity growth • have experience leveraging the strength of established global brands in local markets and providing local market insights at global level • have experience analysing consumer insights, using among others cutting edge data driven techniques to identify consumer behaviour and trends Technical & management skills • Team management • Strong business/commercial acumen, with a good understanding of managing a brand business • Strong communication skills in an international/diverse environment (both in Japanese and English) • Thorough understanding of brand building within a luxury context • Good organizational and planning skills • Presentation and negotiation skills • Strong numerical/analytical skills • Be creative / lead innovation • Strong people management/coaching skills Personal & interpersonal skills • Take responsibility • Be positive and proactive • Motivate team members • Be “Hands-on” • Take on challenges, be competitive • Be able to identify issues and articulate them logically • Honest in opinions • Listens well • Will to learn and experiment • Challenge orthodoxy • Able to build and manage relationships with stakeholders and partners • Have high interest in life style brands and dining out |
