The Sustainability Business (SB) is a global division with the mission to bring all acts together to provide unprecedent, end-to-end support to our customers to achieve their sustainable transformations - from formulating climate strategy to execution & deployment of sustainability offers. The Manager/Senior Manager Cleantech will join a global team of experienced professionals in advising and supporting the world’s largest companies in all areas of renewable energy strategy and procurement, including Power Purchase Agreements and Environmental Commodity procurement. This role will involve leading the Cleantech/Renewable advisory activities in Japan to identify, pursue, win and deliver services to industrial and commercial clients. While the focus will be on winning business from companies headquartered throughout Asia, there will also be significant opportunity to collaborate with our global teams to upsell Asian services to global companies headquartered elsewhere but with operations in Asia. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building relationships with key clients and solution providers, to grow offers across the region. Your responsibilities Lead, and develop the Cleantech team in Japan, encompassing business development, sales, delivery and building network of solution providers Identify prospects that match the profile of the company's Renewable Energy and Cleantech targets and work as a true hunter, with a proven ability to generate and follow up on leads by contacting prospects and creating interest in the company's offerings Conduct process and deliverable review with Cleantech team members in a coaching and mentoring capacity Lead clients through renewable energy procurement advisory processes acting as Client Lead where appropriate and liaising with our broader team in-region and more widely in order to deliver the high quality services our clients expect Partner with relevant teams such as Sustainability Consulting, Energy Procurement, Microgrid, Efficiency and others to create and present bespoke energy management and carbon reducing solutions for clients Communicate and interact with business decision makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities Lead and move prospects through the sales cycle and negotiate and close sales that vary in contract length and fee range Conscientiously represent the Cleantech/Renewable advisory team at regional industry conferences Act as a leader, take on the sales/revenue targets as opportunities to grow and capitalize on them articulate a clear growth strategy in Japan |

【必須(MUST)】 Bachelor’s Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical field with 8+ years of related professional experience in APAC power and renewable energy markets4+ years of experience in Japan energy/clean energy market Proven experience in selling in the energy industry to industrial and/or commercial clients; experience and knowledge from working within the energy / corporate sustainability space is essential Proven team leadership experience in a similar field Prior experience in implementing renewable energy procurement strategy and contract execution in renewables, with a particular focus on PPA negotiations Proven track record of being successful in all elements of a consultative sales role including lead generation, persistence in follow up of leads and movement of prospects through the sales cycle, Interfacing and presenting to all management levels at global scale companies and negotiating agreements to win Presentation skills both in developing client facing materials and delivering in person and on-line presentations 【歓迎(WANT)】 Preferred requirementsStrong negotiation skills and interpersonal persuasiveness Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills in commodity procurement will be highly valued Organizational skills with experience managing data will be highly valued Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly proficient in a Microsoft Office environment (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience.
