Janssen Supply Chain Demand Planning Manager role is responsible for all of forecasting activities. This position requires developing and communicating a consensus forecast for a defined portfolio of products. Responsibilities include integrating historical data, market data and strategic plans collected through IBP process by close collaboration with commercial, marketing, finance, and other operational key stake holders. 【Principal Duties and Responsibilities】 Demand Planning ・Developing SKU level operational demand forecasts. ・Drive a robust process aimed to ensure the timely availability of the most accurate in market demand in a monthly cycle. ・Lead the monthly DRM (Demand Review Meeting) and BUHR (BU Head Review) with preparing all data and metrics for review and identify gaps and scenarios for the horizon of CY,CY+1 and CY+2. Ensure enhanced understanding of the rationale behind figures through DRM with Japan Commercial including: 1. Capturing and understanding the market intelligence 2. Understand the key driver for demand (Volume/Value) 3. Collect and consider multiple sales scenarios to mitigate any future risk. 4. Identify forecast error drivers and opportunities of improvement. 5. Monitor and bring rationale to understand potential gaps between operational and financial forecast. ・Embrace the different view from various functions such as marketing, finance who may have their own perspectives and lead the team to common consensus demand forecast and process. ・Collaborate closely with Commercial to create scenario plan to support on-time launch of new products as well late life cycle product planning. ・Ensure that the Demand Planning team is the single point of contact for all in market demand. ・Ensure that the Demand Planning system (ANAPLAN) tool is embedded in Japan commercial team and is the one source of statistical forecasting that feeds the global data repository of in market demand. ・Collaborate with Fuji Site and participate in the Supply Review process to deliver a cohesive response to the demand requirements. Ensure that gaps in ability to supply are addressed, sufficient scenarios are prepared and preparations for Management Meetings are completed along with Demand planning managements. ・Support the supply planning processes to provide sufficient summary data for subsequent meetings to the Japan commercial management board. Work closely with other key functions, including Finance, Sourcing, Deliver-Customer service, etc. to ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate to be reviewed. Process Enhancement: ・Develop and improve tools to speed up and facilitate data collection, analysis, and transparency towards our Stakeholders. Drive continuous growth and training in the statistical forecasting arena. ・Maintain good communication with other functions to better understanding the dynamics between supply chain including production and commercial activities. ・Design and monitor metrics to measure performance. ・Bring the idea to innovative technology solutions which is like a “Challenge to status-quo”. Metrics: ・IBP schedule adherence ・On time execution of IBP identified actions with Japan Demand Planning Lead ・Primary: MAPE and Bias ・Secondary: Plan Attainment, LIFR, Inventory, stock outs |

【必須(MUST)】 【Education and/or Experience】・Experience in forecasting and knowledge Demand Planning system is required. Degree or BA in Business Administration/Engineering/Supply Chain/Mathematics/ Forecasting or equivalent. ・SAP, MS-Office tools, ERP packages and other relevant IT systems knowledge with focus on planning and forecasting. Experience in forecasting and knowledge Demand Planning system is preferred. ・Minimum 8 to 10 years of supply chain experience with a good understanding of the end to end processes. Strong partnering and understanding of Planning support needs of the Enterprise and Sector. 【Knowledge, skill, abilities】 ・Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are required, including ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business, able to partner with resources from different departments and at various levels of expertise. ・Customer centric mind-set ・Strategic perspective and ability to integrate vision across multiple functions and translating strategy into execution. ・Challenging mindset and be able to extract qualitative information whilst teaming with Business Partners. ・Excellent communication skills and adequate social and partnering skills: attitude for dealing with people in international and diverse environment. ・Ability to work in a matrix organization with a proactive and collaborative mindset. ・Excellent verbal and written Japanese and English competency required. ・Serve as a role model for Credo based decision making. |
