- Determine JP Chemical Substance inventory status with CSCL (Chemical Substance Control Law) and ISHL (Industrial Safety and Health Law) - Responsible for authoring part of SDS (Safety Date Sheet) especially Section 3 and 15. - Responsible for the product safety related local regulations with the fundamental steps, 1) Monitoring, 2) Scanning, 3) Interpreting, 4) Doing RIA (Regulatory Impact Analysis) and 5) Implementing the requirements in Dow. - Assist business specific EH&S customer inquiries which are related to JP Product Safety regulations. - Supports regulatory compliance with the business Product Stewardship Program - Gains full knowledge of product safety practices within the business and uses this expertise to develop EH&S solutions. - Supports business sustainability goals. - Identifies events that could qualify for Product Stewardship Metric reporting. (Depending on Job grade, an employee is engaged in these responsibilities and duties above.) |
