The Engineered Small Molecule is currently working on the creation of first-in-class small molecule drugs that degrade undruggable targets such as KRAS mutants by using protein degradation technology, which is currently the focus of much attention. We are looking for a toxicologist who will work with us to pioneer new paths to deliver innovative drugs to patients suffering from diseases for which there is still no cure. This position is for a toxicologist to be a key member of a program to create clinical products for cancer and other indications. This position is for a toxicologist as a major program member to create and develop the drug candidates. The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with the ESM leadership team, program management, chemistry, biology, ADME, toxicology, and external partners (CROs, etc.). 【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】 （雇入れ直後） - Work as a major program member or assistant memberi n the program management team - Plan the IND enabling toxicity and safety pharmacology study-package - Plan the design of each toxicity study and safety pharmacology study - Conduct the outsourcing toxicity studies and safety pharmacology studies as a study-monitor - Prepare the internal safety evaluation document - Prepare the toxicological parts of Common Technical Document (CTD) and Investigator's Brochure (IB) - Participate in program-related meetings and contribute to the progress of the program through useful suggestions and discussions （変更の範囲） 会社内での全ての業務 【就業環境に関する要件 / Specific Physical or Environmental Requirements】 ・This position is based in Tsukuba research centre and will require on-site work. ・(OR) At Astellas we recognize the importance of work/life balance, and we are proud to offer a hybrid working solution allowing time to connect with colleagues at the office with the flexibility to also work from home.
