About the role: The F&B Manager role is responsible for leading the delivery of projects, ensuring service excellence for clients and playing an important role in the development of others within the team. You help clients implement, improve and demonstrate their commitment to international and local standards. You will get the opportunity to lead and develop our people and work on a wide range of Food and Beverage services from auditing and training services. This position reports to the Area Manager, Japan. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES You will be expected to support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including ・Proactively seek to identify and understand customer needs and support sales and training teams to create demands; ・Build capacity to expand services in F&B sector; ・Key customer management and stakeholder engagements; ・Support other teams (marketing, sales, training and scheduling) through technical advice and guidance; ・Manage the qualifications of the team members in conjunction with local technical team, global technical hub (GTH) and other accredited units. You will be expected to contribute to the growth of DNV’s business in F&B sector through the following activities: ・Innovate by understanding ever changing client needs, proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions by offering DNV services to them; Responsible for the growth of the F&B business derived from market intelligence, contribution to Korea business plans (including workforce plan) and execution of the business plan; ・Overall lead and manage the F&B audit team in Japan with key responsibilities including auditing, competence management and development, key customer development, accreditation management, auditor chargeability and others; ・Conduct 3rd party audits for various food safety schemes including quality management system, and other specific scheme audits; ・Lead projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards and food schemes requirements; ・Lead and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders; ・Introduce services from your own/existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients. You will have business travel, and 10% of which is International Travel. |

応募資格 |
【必須(MUST)】 About you:・Bachelor’s degree in food science or technology or academic qualifications relevant to food and beverage subject areas; ・Minimum 8-year experience in quality management system relevant to food and beverage, with 3rd - party auditing experience in food safety; ・Qualifications in some of these schemes like BRC Food, BRC packaging, SQF, IFS, FSSC V6 (Food and Packaging), ISO9001, ISO22000:2018, GMP Plus, FAMI-QS, Global Standard, etc, to name a few; Page 2 of 2 Job description - F&B Manager Japan (May 2024) ); and ・Strong communication skills in English and Japanese;‐Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence. ・Ability to work in an international team, delivering and leading teams to produce high quality deliverables on time and on budget; ・Ability to lead multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines; ・Ability to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance in constructive manner to management; ・Willingness to travel and work around Japan and other locations. |
