Responsible for working with the local distributor, to achieve profitable growth in the Japanese market in favour of the Pet Category, understanding the needs of the consumer and the shopper. Develop a deep understanding of the Japanese market landscape taking into account the complexities of the RTM and create efficiencies to create value. Liaise with the existing importer and wholesalers to drive sales, taking into account the market's language, their needs, strategies, tools, mode of operation and growth scorecard, in order to design a mutual Strategic Growth Plan in which distribution, availability, display and value at the point of sale are the critical success factors. • In collaboration with the Business Development Director APAC develop a growth strategy for the market • Creation and alignment of collaborative growth plans • Identify new ranging opportunities with the SPT landscape aligned to brand strategy • Quarterly review of the sell in / sell out to ensure growth and coverage metrics are met • Generation, alignment and execution of short, medium and long term growth plans • Alignment with the execution team to ensure perfect execution in trade • Communication and coordination with local marketing resources （distributor） to develop robust plans that create awareness and drive conversion • Be the voice of Japan and share market context with regional and global champion teams |
