仕事内容 【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
This is a position for a medicinal chemist who develop and apply competitive platform such as a new modality, delivery technology, AI-based drug discovery, and robotic synthesis as a project member in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.


【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

- Create scientific data in collaboration with an internal team or cross-functional team under supervision of team leader
- Provide ideas to experimental design to develop modality/technology platforms.
- Apply scientific rationale to assigned job, including experimental design, analysis, and interpretation.
- Learn from senior members and co-work for the common issues in the collaboration.
- Adhere to research compliance and laboratory safety.
- In the assigned area, execute the activities that are required to build new modality/technology platforms.
- Solidify expertise and utilize digital transformation with knowledge of digital technology.
- Conduct research activities to ensure that a team meets its milestones and all other objectives in collaboration with the other research functional units, CROs and external collaborators under supervision of team leader.

【給与 / Salary】
①基本給：当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定
②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給
③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給
①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.
②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)
③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.

裁量労働制の場合、所定労働時間を働いたものとみなす。

応募資格

【必須（MUST）】

- At least three years working experience at a biotech/pharmaceutical company or the equivalent experience at academic research
- Knowledge and experience of drug discovery and development
- Experience of working in cross functional environment
- Experimental skills
- Developing communication skills (active & passive) in own language and in English

　　 *Giving presentations

【歓迎（WANT）】

- Developing knowledge and experience of developing modality/technology platforms (AI/robotics, small molecule drug discovery, PROTAC, ADC, peptide, mRNA/lipid nano particle, DEL library, etc.)
- Experience of working for drug discovery projects.
- Familiar with Dx/AI technologies
- Experience of working for external collaborations
