Are you passionate about storytelling, media relations, and driving impactful communication strategies within the healthcare industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Public Affairs, to join our team in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic communication initiatives that enhance our business's visibility, reputation, and engagement both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Storytelling: Craft and deliver compelling stories that highlight our corporate, business, and brand narratives. Leverage our portfolio to create impactful product communications that resonate with diverse audiences. Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, journalists, and key external influencers to enhance our reputation and drive business growth. Serve as a spokesperson, crafting messages that support our image and business objectives. Proactive Issues Management: Anticipate and address potential public issues with well-developed action plans to safeguard our reputation. Employee Engagement: Drive internal communication efforts to foster a unified company culture. Maximize the use of our internal communication tools to keep employees informed and engaged. Business Support: Develop and execute communication strategies that boost our competitive advantage and market share in Japan. Highlight our innovations and contributions to the healthcare industry. Brand and Thought Leadership: Support external PR and thought leadership initiatives, particularly around significant events like the Tokyo Marathon. Ensure consistent brand messaging in all communications. Agency Management: Oversee PR agencies to ensure effective budget and account management. Ensure contracts are in place to achieve a strong return on investment. |

【必須(MUST)】 Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field. At least 10 years of corporate communications/public relations experience, preferably within a multinational healthcare, pharma, or FMCG company. Deep understanding of Japan market dynamics and U.S. business practices. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English. Experience with website management is a plus. Proven track record in media and editor relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, and issues/crisis management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Management Responsibilities: This position reports to the Director of Public Affairs, Japan, and collaborates closely with regional, business, and HQ public affairs teams. |
