About the Role: The Commercial Head of APAC is responsible for leading and driving the company's commercial operations, sales, and business development efforts across the Asia-Pacific region. This role oversees the development and execution of strategic plans, manages key customer relationships, and ensures operational excellence to achieve revenue growth and market expansion objectives. Responsibilities: Developing and implementing comprehensive commercial strategies and operational plans to drive business growth, market penetration and revenue generation in the APAC region. Leading and motivating the regional sales team, setting ambitious yet achievable sales targets. Ensuring effective sales processes, pipeline management and revenue forecasting. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships and expanding the company's presence in key markets within the APAC region. Representing the Intellectual Property business in client events and thought-leadership forums. Managing and nurturing relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities and industry developments. Providing insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities. Fostering collaboration and alignment across various departments, such as marketing, product management and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies and initiatives. Recruiting, developing and retaining top talent, providing leadership, coaching and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing commercial team. Developing and managing regional budgets, forecasts and financial plans. Ensuring efficient resource allocation and profitability. Ensuring adherence to company policies, legal regulations and industry best practices across all commercial operations in the APAC region. 【必須(MUST)】 Requirements: - Proven leadership experience in commercial operations, sales or business development roles within the APAC region - Deep understanding of the APAC market dynamics, cultural nuances and business practices - Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills - Proficiency in strategic planning, financial analysis and data-driven decision-making - Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field; advanced degree preferred - Language skills in English and Japanese |
