<職務内容/Job Responsibilities> ■Organization Overview: The Market Research team belongs to Customer Insights-Experience and Strategy, in the Marketing department, and is one of the core functions with Commercial analytics, Forecasting, and New Product Planning. This role is to provide an understanding of customer insights and market information based on the primary/secondary market research among customers (HCP, Patient, Payer, Co-medical, Caregiver). Market research team usually partners with various cross functional teams depending on the project scope and objectives, such as Brand team, CEIT/MCE, Medical, CA, and also global/IBU to address to each of their business needs. ■Overall Job purpose Market researcher is expected to be a strategic partner as an “insight expert” who works with brand team and other subject matter experts to uncover customers’ unmet needs and define marketing opportunities by the clear logic and prioritization. The market researcher demonstrates a deep understanding of the needs of the customer and how the customer’s insights can be incorporated into the brand strategy to better select solutions that would boost the brand to thrive. *Responsibilities: ・Lead and manage the market research projects to achieve objectives independently, with managing the timeline, resource/financial requirement of business partners in the most efficient way. ・Serve as a key resource within an assigned therapeutic area business and provide recommendations to influence on critical decision-making points (listed below as examples), by leveraging primary/secondary market research results. ○Localization of global brand strategy (MOT, Patient journey, Message development etc.) ○Design the local executional plan (Segmentation, White card creation, DAC campaign etc.) ○Brand health assessment (basically, belief perspective) ○Business case assessment (input to forecast, analysis done by commercial analytics etc.) ○Launch readiness / Customer planning process ○Develop holistic approach in measurement/learning plans of annual market research projects liaising and making alignments with the assigned therapeutic area brand team, and relative subject matter experts. ・Share learnings within the market research team, and beyond functions to synergize and enhance the capability of marketing approach to explore customer insights and link them to the brand strategy/execution improvement. ・Explore the innovative approach of understanding customers insights to boost productivity ・Exchange information with IBU LMR(our company market research) organizations as a IBU family in a timely/frequent manner in order to develop the best practices of market research approaches. ・Closely communicate with the global LMR especially during the series of brand plan development research projects for the pre-launch, and early stages of post launch brands. |

【必須(MUST)】 ■Basic Requirements/必須経験やスキル:1)Bachelor’s degree 2)Knowledge and experiences with marketing fundamentals (4Ps) 3)Minimum 3 years of experiences in Market research or either Marketing with demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the role of primary/secondary data 4)Experience in either healthcare industry or market research vender/professional firm 5)Basic skills of Microsoft excel to use/read the cross tabulation 6)Effective project management and execution skill 7)Strong communication, presentation skills in the cross functional teams, and with Sr. leaderships 8)Critical thinking, logical thinking, analytical ability, strategic thinking ability 9)Problem solving skills (anticipate and resolve complex business problems, independently) 10)Positive attitude, flexible for changes, aptitude to analyse from complex information to answer to ‘why’ 11)Written and oral Japanese and English skills, both at business level and above. ■Additional Skills/Preferences/望ましい経験やスキル: ・Effective communication ・Peer coach other members, and leadership mindset to drive forward ・Knowledge and experience of statistical approach of quantitative data analysis ■Additional Information: ・Travel 10% (for the fieldwork observation in case of in-facility interviews) |
