The Role Work closely with EA Director and management team to develop and execute long－term and integrated strategies on topics including regulatory, fiscal, science, and sustainability in order to drive and obtain stability, predictability, and sustainable business growth for RRP （Reduced Risk Products） and CC （Conventional Cigarette） business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Long－term and integrated Strategy Development and Implementation: Work closely with EA Director and management team to develop and execute a long－term strategy on topics including regulatory, fiscal, science, and sustainability, based on emerging regulatory trends and tools to amplify in building local regulatory roadmaps that cater to local business needs while ensuring a level－playing field in the long－term. • Internal Orchestration: Work collaboratively across organizations to support cross－company strategy efforts and providing analytical support and management of ad hoc projects as required. Inspire internal clients, structuring and tailoring the strategies for creating the regulatory framework necessary for the successful business, by enhancing the societal understanding of Tobacco Harm Reduction （THR）, further improving HTP （Heated Tobacco Products）' scientific credibility and building awareness of PMJ's smoke free vision among society. • External Relationship Buildings: Identify and explore opportunities in affiliate engagements with external stakeholders and to mobilize initiatives to develop and maintain partnerships with government institutions, scientific community, media, NGOs, and other stakeholders to obtain participation of in the development of local regulatory frameworks, and to facilitate consumer discussion platforms for RRP－related issues. • Local Key Opinion Leaders Engagements: Develop and execute a fiscal and regulatory strategy integrated in a comprehensive regulatory framework that establish as expert and preferred partner on tobacco taxation matters among local think－tanks and promote rationale principles and policies that are sustainable for the long－term. • Intelligence Gathering: Identify, analyze, and assess political, bureaucratic, and regulatory trends that affect the industry and our business, particularly from scientific and medical aspects: Develop and present solutions to address issues of concern, and drive strategic execution on agreed solution. • Supports for EA Team Managements: Support EA Director and drive team members' development and career progress by ensuring a course of managerial activities e.g. objective setting, feedback and development discussion, support with capability building, and coaching. |
| 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 QUALIFICATIONS• 10－15＋ years of experience in a large multinational company leading regulation/fiscal/ engagement strategies and direct interaction with government institutions, regulatory authorities, and PR/media outfits • 5＋ years people management experience （in External/Corporate Affairs） • Proven capability as a project leader, from cross functional/ cross geographical teams and projects • Global work experience in External/Corporate Affairs • Fluency in Japanese / English |
