仕事内容 ◆ Essential duties and responsibilities

◎ Position Summary
The Team Leader for our Colocation and Remote Hands Management team is responsible for setting up the colocation and remote hands service plan for the customers and identifying areas of improvement in policies, procedures, and implement of changes. As a Team Leader, you will lead the internal Colocation and Remote Hands managers who assist and provide the technical oversight / guidance to onsite facility engineering/remote hands teams. Working cross-functionally with our Asset/Property Management, Technical Operations and Sales teams, you will ensure the objectives and goals of the customer services function is achieved. Additionally, this role monitors SLA performance and agreed KPIs, and supports new date center developments with regards to customer services aspects and requirements.

◎ Colocation Manager
〇 Project Management
・Create a project plan for each customer deployment in Colocation space.
・Track the deployment and update the project plan
・Create a bill of materials and scope/spec for each sub-trade required to implement the customer requirements.
・Provide a budget to actual cost analysis for each project.
・Collaborate with other teams, including sales, network operations, security, CSM (Customer Success Management),  and facilities engineering management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of Data Center services.

〇 Vendor Management
・Manage material construction vendors and contractors.
・Develop SOWs for customer deployment, review and coordinate pricing and contracts.
・Manage, direct and coordinate the activities of internal or contracted personnel or third parties who are providing services or performing work for the deployment projects.
・Qualify vendors and implement the company's procurement procedures including tendering projects, using RFPs, purchase orders, and cost tracking templates.
・Obtain and negotiate pricing for services in conjunction with the Real Estate Manager and/or Data Center Manager/DC Engineering Manager.
・Track vendor performance against contracts and SLAs.

〇 Customer Success Support
・Maintain a holistic understanding of Colocation customers’ portfolio; be proactive in anticipating their needs.
・Provide Customer Portal system training and technical support to customers.
・Leverage your relationship with customers along with our in-house tools/scorecards to ensure we are meeting all customer requirements and identifying ways to improve their experience with the company. Regularly meet with customers to ensure we are aligned with their needs.
・Meet regularly with the APAC DRT CS (Customer Success) members and help implement the global CS initiatives

◎ Remote Hands Manager
・Represent as the go-to person, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to customers.
・Develop and implement standard operating procedures and workflows for remote hands services.
・Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, industry standards, and best practices for Data Center operations and security.
・Manage Data Center inventory, tools, cables, X-connect audits, etc, and ensure that all assets are properly tracked and accounted for.
・Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering responsive, professional, and knowledgeable support to customers.
・Provide technical guidance and support to remote hands technicians & leads, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, training, and tools to perform their duties effectively.
・Availability to work outside of normal business hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
・Actively contribute and deliver RH-related services for BMS/Security/Implementation projects.
・Collaborate with other teams, including sales, network operations, security, CSM (Customer Success Management), and facilities engineering management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of Data Center services.
・Responsible for the daily remote hand operations of the Data Center, including troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance tasks, and managing vendors.
・Manage and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure adequate coverage and timely response to customer requests.
・Work closely with the sales and sales engineering team to develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base for remote hands services, DC tours, and support customer audits."

応募資格

【必須(MUST)】

◆ Experience
・Minimum 5 years’ experience in a datacenter environment having strong IT and Management skills (e.g., project, vendor, and client management experiences handling Telco, Colocation, Remote Hands or related fields)
・Must have proven leadership or management experience of a technical team
・Experience working in a fast paced, high volume workplace and the ability to remain calm under high pressure.
・Experience in customer deployments in Colocation or related fields.

◆ Knowledge
・Expert level knowledge of data center infrastructure including racks, cages, electrical distribution, data cables, and networking equipment such as servers, routers, and switches.

◆ Skills
・Must have good problem determination/trouble shooting skills.

◆ Abilities
・Able to make effective presentations and respond to questions from groups of clients and customers.
・Self-starter mentality and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A good team player.
・Ability to track costs for all projects, using purchase orders and other tracking methods
・Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures

◆ Language
・Fluent in Japanese. Must be able to read and write English. English conversation ability should be at least basic level.

◆ Education
・Technical college, or professional school graduate or higher (university graduate is preferable)
