◆ Position Summary The Remote Hands Manager will manage the onsite remote hands team to assist all colocation/hyperscale customers by providing “best in class” customer and technical support. The Remote Hands Manager will work with and support all customer demands which may include, rack bolting down and installation, racking and stacking of equipment, cabling, cross connects, etc. The Remote Hands Manager will be primarily responsible for responding to customer requests within the Service Level Agreement time frame. The Remote Hands Manager will also assist other members of the Operations Team ensuring 100% uptime to all customers. ◆ Essential duties and responsibilities ・Represent as the go-to person, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to customers. ・Develop and implement standard operating procedures and workflows for remote hands services. ・Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, industry standards, and best practices for Data Center operations and security. ・Manage Data Center inventory, tools, cables, X-connect audits, etc, and ensure that all assets are properly tracked and accounted for. ・Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering responsive, professional, and knowledgeable support to customers. ・Provide technical guidance and support to remote hands technicians & leads, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, training, and tools to perform their duties effectively. ・Availability to work outside of normal business hours and respond to emergency situations as needed. ・Actively contribute and deliver RH-related services for BMS/Security/Implementation projects. ・Collaborate with other teams, including sales, network operations, security, CSM (Customer Success Management), and facilities engineering management, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of Data Center services. ・Responsible for the daily remote hand operations of the Data Center, including troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance tasks, and managing vendors. ・Manage and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure adequate coverage and timely response to customer requests. ・Work closely with the sales and sales engineering team to develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base for remote hands services, DC tours, and support customer audits. | 応募資格 |
【必須（MUST）】 ◆ Experience・Minimum 3 years of experience having strong IT skills in remote hands services in data center business. ・Must have proven leadership or management experience of a technical team ・Experience working in a fast paced, high volume workplace and the ability to remain calm under high pressure. ・Experience in customer deployments in Colocation or related fields. ◆ Knowledge ・Expert level knowledge of servers, routers, switches, hubs and networking equipment. ◆ Skills ・Must have good problem determination/trouble shooting skills. ◆ Abilities ・Able to make effective presentations and respond to questions from groups of clients and customers. ・Self-starter mentality and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A good team player. ・Ability to track costs for all projects, using purchase orders and other tracking methods ・Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures ◆ Language ・Fluent in Japanese. Must be able to read and write English.
